420 Fighters from 27 Countries Join the First SENSHI Training Camp of the Year

With an impressive scale and 420 participants from 27 countries, the International SENSHI training camp in Varna, Bulgaria, has begun. Representatives of Austria, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Italy, Kosovo, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Japan, New Zealand, and Bulgaria are taking part in the elite combat camp held at SENSHI Gym and the “Black Sea” Hall.

As part of the camp program, from February 26 to March 1, the fighters train under the guidance of renowned combat masters from the world stage of kickboxing and Kyokushin karate. The instructor lineup of the SENSHI camp is more than impressive. Alongside K-1 legends Semmy Schilt, Ernesto Hoost, Andy Souwer, and Albert Kraus, who lead the kickboxing sessions, this time the six-time world champion Ray Sefo has also joined. The Kyokushin modules are led by shihan Asen Asenov, sensei Tariel Nikolaishvili, sensei Zahari Damyanov, sensei Jan Soukup, and sensei Petar Martinov.

Intensive training sessions, including individual and combined kickboxing and Kyokushin workouts, are part of the camp program in Varna, Bulgaria. It also includes additional sessions, as well as an open media workout with participants in the upcoming SENSHI 30 Grand Prix fight gala evening.

Saturday evening, February 28, marks the culmination of the training days, as from 7:00 PM EET /12:00 PM EST/, at the Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna, Bulgaria, SENSHI 30 will take place, featuring a spectacular Grand Prix tournament in the 75 kg category.

The special 30th anniversary edition of SENSHI is one of the biggest and most international so far, with a total of 470+ guests, athletes, legendary instructors, trainers and media, coming from  35 countries: Albania, Austria, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Japan, New Zealand, USA, Scotland and Bulgaria.

More than 420 participants from 27 countries, along with 11 world-renowned combat sports legends, are part of the international SENSHI training camp held in the days leading up to the fight gala night, while an additional 18 professional fighters from 13 countries further enhanced the event’s international character.
