Guerric Billet: “I will box the way I know best – with power and precision”

Fresh off his 2025 ISKA Oriental Rules World Championship win, Guerric Billet is more focused than ever. At just 29, the French striker boasts an impressive record, including world titles in three different organizations and a spot in the Top 5 in one of them. With over 20 years passion in martial arts, his foundation in K-1 is built on grit, discipline, and a clear mission: to dominate every time he steps into the ring.

Guerric Billet’s journey began with childhood inspiration from Rocky movie, Pride FC, and the golden days of K-1. Today, he brings that same fighting spirit to the present. Ahead of his next fight on July 12 in Varna, Bulgaria, he shares insights into his training, mindset, and what fans can expect from him when the bell rings.

– Guerric, how did it all begin for you in martial arts?

I’ve been training over 20 years. As a kid, I was inspired by Rocky, Pride, and K-1 — I just knew I wanted to fight.

– What does a typical training day look like for you?

I start with boxing in the morning, then strength and cardio in the afternoon. It’s all about consistency.

– You mentioned mental and physical preparation go hand in hand. How do you train the mind?

I combine both in real situations — sparring, pressure drills, moments that simulate fight stress. That’s where you grow.

– Do you have any pre-fight rituals?

Yes — I always take time to calm down and focus. It’s about entering the right headspace.

– What’s your most memorable moment so far?

My first professional fight in big promotion. I won by knockout — it launched my pro career in the best possible way.

– Who’s been your toughest opponent?

Enriko Kehl. Tough, technical, and relentless.

– How do you stay motivated through hard times?

It’s simple — this is my job. I have to be motivated. No excuses.

– What can fans expect from your upcoming fight in SENSHI 27?

They can expect a high-level, intense match. I will box the way I know best — with power and precision.
