Fighters from 19 countries will participate in the KWU SENSHI World Cup for Amateurs 2025

The tournament kicks off on July 10 in Kamchia, Bulgaria

The international martial arts stage will be shaken by fierce competition and high athletic caliber on July 10, when the second edition of the KWU SENSHI World Cup for Amateurs 2025 begins. The tournament will bring together fighters from 19 countries, who will face off at the Kamchia Sports Complex, where the quarterfinals will start at 10:00 AM.

The athletes will compete in six weight categories: -70, -75, -80, -85, -90, and 90+ kg. Among them are representatives of some of the world’s strongest fighting schools – Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, and Serbia – which are sending the largest delegations to the tournament.

One of the notable competitors is Pablo Molina, the 2024 KWU SENSHI World Cup amateur champion in the -90 kg category, who will defend his title. Also returning is Nikita Garash, last year’s Vice-champion in the -85 kg category, who now has his sights set on the championship gold.

Bulgaria will be represented by eight fighters: Dilyan Nikolov, Presiyan Marinov, Petar Stoykov, Atanas Lichev, Lachezar Palachorov, Sergiy Zakhozhi, Velin Stoyanov, and European Kyokushin karate champion Vasil Dimitrov.

The semifinals of the KWU SENSHI World Cup for Amateurs will take place on July 11 in Kamchia, and the finals will officially open the SENSHI 27 professional fight night on July 12 at 6:30 PM, held on the beach in front of “More” restaurant in the resort of Sts. Constantine and Helena, Varna.

In addition to sporting glory, the fighters will also compete for generous cash prizes. Quarterfinal winners will receive €1,000, while the losing fighters will earn €500. In the semifinals, prizes increase to €1,500 for winners and €1,000 for runners-up. Finalists will battle for the champion’s prize of €2,000, with the silver medalists taking home €1,000.

The KWU SENSHI World Cup for Amateurs is establishing itself as a springboard for new talents in combat sports and a platform for international recognition. The tournament promises high adrenaline, intense battles, and plenty of excitement for both fans and participants alike.
