“The King” Samed Agdeve triumphs with the Title at SENSHI 28 Grand Prix

The youngest fighter in the tournament, Samed Agdeve, conquered the first-ever SENSHI Grand Prix, while the audience witnessed six knockouts.

The fight event of the year, SENSHI 28 Grand Prix, held last night on the beach arena in Varna, Bulgaria delivered true gladiator clashes until the very last second. In front of nearly 1,000 spectators and tens of thousands more watching live, after three exhausting qualifying rounds and six spectacular knockouts, the first SENSHI Grand Prix champion in the heavyweight division over 95 kg was crowned. His name is Samed Agdeve, known as “The King.”

At only 21 years old, Agdeve stood out as the youngest contender for the inaugural SENSHI Grand Prix championship belt. He reached the final after eliminating Ali Badawi from Lebanon, then defeating Germanian Gerardo Atti with a brutal knockout in the semifinals.

The big finale of the evening was between Samed Agdeve and Rhys Brudenell. Both fighters gave their all, but “The King” demonstrated the will and power that deservedly earned him the trophy. Agdeve also won the prestigious individual award “Knockout of the Night,” cementing his status as a rising star on the global fighting scene and writing his name into the history of the international SENSHI fight gala. The event was broadcast live in Bulgaria and worldwide, and the fights quickly gained international media coverage. This was the very first time Bulgaria hosted a Grand Prix tournament in the heavyweight division.

Bulgarian fighters also put on worthy performances, competing in two of the three super fights of SENSHI 28, though their efforts were not crowned with victory.
