From technical sessions to intense sparring – look inside the second day of the camp
Adrenaline, intense sparring, and invaluable experience – this is how the first-ever SENSHI Invitational Training Camp, which started on October 16 and continues until October 18, can be described. Over the course of three days, 32 of the most promising professional fighters in Europe in the 70 to 85 kg categories are training side by side under the guidance of world-renowned kickboxing stars, SENSHI instructors, and referees Albert Kraus and Andy Souwer.
Participants undergo demanding technical and sparring sessions, receiving expert advice, know-how, and direct feedback from two of the most respected names in combat sports.
“Not all roads lead to Rome. Or, put simply – not every combination will work against every opponent. Experiment, make a plan in your mind, and work on it,” said Albert Kraus – the first-ever K-1 MAX World Champion (2002) – during one of the trainings of the camp.
Among the selected participants of the special SENSHI training camp are some of the most promising kickboxing names in Europe, such at Samo Petje from Slovenia – the reigning SENSHI European Champion in the under-75 kg category and a five-time SENSHI winner; Michael Samperi from Italy and Constantin Rusu from Moldova, who previously faced each other at SENSHI 24; and German fighter Valentin Knau. Other notable fighters at the camp include Marian Lapusneanu “The Terror” from Romania, Frangis Goma from France, Dominik Bereczki from Hungary, Daniele Valente from Italy,Giannis Eminov from Greece, and many more.
Among the other participans are also popular SENSHI fighters from Bulgaria, such as Atanas Bozhilov (Mr. SENSHI) with the impressive 23 wins in the organization, Vladimir Vulov, Dragomir Petrov, Petar Stoykov, Ognyan Mirchev, Delyan Georgiev, Deyan Galinov, and Konstantin Stoykov, whom fans last saw on September 13 in one of the three super fights at SENSHI 28 Grand Prix.
The program of SENSHI Invitational Camp includes seven intensive training sessions – three on the first day, three on the second day, and a final session on Saturday morning. Each morning session focuses on technique and precision, afternoon sessions on fight combinations, and evenings conclude with intense sparring. After each sparring session, Albert Kraus and Andy Souwer provide detailed analysis and invaluable feedback to the participants.
