The international fight organization SENSHI has opened a new chapter in its development by hosting a special training camp for selected fighters, led by legends Albert “The Hurricane” Kraus and Andy Souwer. The event took place from October 15 to 18 at SENSHI Gym in Varna, Bulgaria, and gathered some of the most promising competitors in the 70 to 85 kg categories.
Dutch legend Albert Kraus, the first world champion in the history of K-1 MAX (2002), gave an exclusive interview for the SENSHI team, sharing his impressions of the camp and the idea behind it. The interview was also featured by the combat sports media Boec.bg.

“I think this is a really great event. For the first time, a fight organization is holding such a camp. No other organisation has done this before – to train and prepare the fighters who participated also in its events. It’s a big opportunity for them, a very good chance to train together, to grow, and to exchange experiences. It was an honor for me to be an instructor here and part of this,” said Kraus.
During the four-day camp, Kraus and Souwer conducted a series of intensive sessions focused on developing the technical, tactical, and mental skills of professional fighters. Participants went through controlled sparring, practical drills, and psychological preparation under the supervision of two of the most experienced instructors in the world.
“Throughout the camp, we had the chance to see the fighters from another side — not only in the ring but also during their training process. This helps us understand how they think, how they react, and what they need to improve. We invited only those we consider the best and most promising, and it’s an honor for me to share my experience with them,” Kraus added.
At the end of the conversation, the legendary Dutchman shared a message for the participants: “Not all roads lead to Rome. Or to put it simply — not every combination will work against every opponent. Try, experiment, make a plan in your head, and follow it. Only then will you develop your own style and become better.”
With this camp, SENSHI has taken another step toward establishing itself not only as an organization that hosts spectacular fight nights but also as one that actively invests in the growth of its fighters and the development of combat sports as a whole.
