One of SENSHI’s brightest stars is coming back on July 6th for the 22th edition of the international fight gala. Atanas Bozhilov will be facing Samo Petje in order to defend his European title. In the weeks before the fight the champion gave an exclusive interview for Boec and he shared his thoughts.
“My work is taking place as scheduled, I am working on high intensity now. Weather is hot which makes the practices even more exhausting but we are moving well. I don’t have any injuries and I feel in good shape. I am focusing in sparing sessions and stamina. We have only two weeks before SENSHI 22 and I hope I can give the Bulgarian audience another victory“, Nakata said.
This will be his first tittle defense which makes it even more special for the Bulgarian.
“I have a bigger responsibility for this fight because I am facing a very experienced and skilled opponent. He has allot of fight nights against some serious fighters behind his back and I am fully concentrated for this bout. I know it is going to be a tough challenge but I will be 100 percent ready for it. I’ve managed to study the good and the bad sides of Samo Petje, and I am working on them so that I can get out as a winner after this fight“, added Bozhilov.
After SENSHI 21 Nakata shared that he will accept a challenge from the tough Slovenian . Bozhilov is one of the fans favorite at these events and he hopes that people will back him up once again on the beach edition at Saints Konstantin and Helena resort.
