Bulgarian fighter Atanas Bozhilov confidently secured his 22nd victory in the professional SENSHI fight series, further cementing his legendary status.
“I was well-prepared for the match. Everything went according to plan, and I won. When they announce my opponent, I start studying him,” the fighter said on the air of morning show “Bulgaria Sutrin”.
The SENSHI 26 Gladiators fight night took place just a few days ago at the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv, and Bozhilov delivered the first Bulgarian victory of the evening against Belgian fighter Sabri Ben Henia, much to the delight of the audience. Following yet another success, Bozhilov is now being called Mr. SENSHI due to his record number of wins at the international gala event.
“I feel great. I hope to stay injury-free and continue performing at this level so I can keep my name and remain Mr. SENSHI”, he told Bulgaria ON AIR.
“It was the first time we fought in Plovdiv at the Ancient Theatre. You could feel the gladiator spirit—it was under the open sky. The atmosphere was amazing. The crowd was ecstatic. I was the first Bulgarian to enter the ring and felt incredible support from the audience. The pressure is mounting now, with so many victories,” Bozhilov also shared in the interview.
According to him, the International SENSHI Fight Gala Night is incomparable: “Each edition keeps getting better. The treatment of the fighters is amazing.”
At the end of the TV interview, the fighter announced that he has a professional match coming up on June 7 in Vienna against a local star, and he promised to once again delight Bulgarian fight sport fans with a victory.
