On May 17, the professional gala SENSHI 26 Gladiators will take over the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. The fighter Dragomir Petrov is preparing for the fight gala and his third defense of the Euro title in the category up to 70 kg. I plan to pick up the pace from the first round and keep it high until the third, revealed the fighter in an interview with Bulgaria ON AIR TV.
At the end of April, Dragomir Petrov was in the Netherlands for an intensive training camp with world-class kickboxing stars. “It’s been a long preparation. My last fight was in December. I’ve been getting ready for the upcoming match in Plovdiv for about five months. I’ve gained weight, added muscle mass. I feel ready, I’m confident,” Petrov shared on the air of the “Bulgaria Sutrin” morning show.
The fighter stated that he plans to finish the match against Croatian Andrej Kedves before the end of the third round. “I intend to show quite a few new things. I plan to increase the tempo from the first round and keep it high through the third,” Petrov said in an interview with Bulgaria ON AIR.
According to him, after gaining experience from more than 30 professional fights, he and his coaches work like a well-oiled machine. “I work with Nikolay Neshev and Pavel Zhivkov, and for conditioning and functionality, Krasimir Kostov helps me. I’m someone who adapts quickly,” Petrov noted.
He shared that he draws a lot of energy from the audience when stepping into the ring. The fighter also admitted that he receives strength and motivation from his young son.
