Sensei Nakahara is a professional mixed martial artist, kickboxer, and Kyokushin karateka. He made his MMA pro debut against Kazushi Sakuraba at Dream 2: Middleweight Grand Prix 2008 First Round.

Nakahara began studying Kyokushin karate, a full-contact karate style developed by Sosai Masutatsu Oyama at an early age. Since then, he has achieved success in numerous competitions in Brazil and America, including championship fights with rival karatekas Ewerton Teixeira and Eduardo Tanaka. Nakahara was also confirmed as a cast member for The Ultimate Fighter 21, representing Blackzilians.
