Canadian Olivier Langlois-Ross and Surinamese fighter Miles Simson are set to square off in one of the opening-round bouts of the SENSHI Grand Prix tournament in the 85 kg division. The two competitors will meet on July 11 at 7:30 PM EET /12:30 PM EST/ at the beach arena in St. St. Constantine and Helena Resort, Varna, Bulgaria, in a fight that will determine who advances to the semifinals of the single-elimination tournament.
Thirty-five-year-old Olivier Langlois-Ross is a familiar face to the SENSHI audience. He has competed four times in the promotion, recording two victories. Among the highlights of his career are the 2019 K-Energy 8-Man Tournament title, the 2018 WMO Thailand Championship, and the 2014 Thepprasit Stadium Super Heavyweight Championship. His international experience and previous appearances at SENSHI could prove to be valuable assets in this crucial matchup.
Standing opposite him will be 34-year-old Miles Simson of Suriname, who will make his SENSHI debut. He is the WFCA Dutch Kickboxing Champion, a two-time Enfusion ECE World Champion, and a SLAMM Muay Thai World Champion. Known as "The Punisher," Simson describes himself as a complete fighter capable of adapting to any situation. Seeing SENSHI as a major opportunity on the international stage, he aims to establish himself as a serious Grand Prix contender from his very first appearance.
The spotlight will be on two seasoned competitors with championship credentials as they battle for a place in the next stage of the tournament. For Langlois-Ross, this is an opportunity to capitalize on his experience inside the SENSHI ring, while Simson will be looking to showcase his skills and make an immediate impact in the promotion.
The international fight gala SENSHI 32 Grand Prix will bring together 16 fighters from 13 countries on July 11 at the beach arena next to Restaurant More in St. St. Constantine and Helena Resort, Varna, Bulgaria. The main attraction of the event will be the Grand Prix single-elimination tournament up to 85 kg, which will crown the new SENSHI champion. Tickets for the event are available at Eventim.bg.
