Atanas Bozhilov received a new nickname around SENSHI 23 by the legends of kickboxing. He was named ‘Mister SENSHI’ because he became the most experienced fighter in the history of the organization and later that night he got to his 20th victory against Jaiteh Ndow Bubu from Spain in the main event of the evening. After that he said that he will try and wear the name with pride.

“This is maybe my first KO at SENSHI. Once I had a knockdown but i couldn’t finish him. It was an amazing experience with an amazing crowd at a wonderful venue. For me SENSHI is number one and I hope I can stay ‘Mister SENSHI’ and finish with a victory“, he said in an interview for Boec after the gala.

Before the fight Bozhilov made a bold claim that he will knock him out in the second round. Truly this appeared to be the first KO in his SENSHI career and it came just in time so that he can keep his word.

He had some difficulties with the Spaniard at the beginning but managed to find a way to gen his plan into motion.

‘Mister SENSHI’ shared also that he is coming back later this year and in 2025 he is going for a rematch with Samo Petje so that he can get his European title back.
