The second bout of the SENSHI Grand Prix tournament in the lightweight division (up to 70 kg) will pit the experienced Brazilian Bruno Gazani against the ambitious Moroccan fighter Aissam Chadid. In one of the most intriguing matchups in the main tournament bracket, the winner will advance to prove his championship credentials. The better man on the night will take an important step toward capturing the prestigious title of the professional fighting organization and will move on to the semifinal stage of the tournament. Their clash will be part of the international fight gala SENSHI 31 Gladiators, which will take place on May 30 at 7:30 PM EET /12:30 PM EST/ at the Ancient Theatre of Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
Bruno Gazani arrives in Bulgaria as one of the most seasoned and formidable competitors in the tournament. The Brazilian has delivered strong performances in SENSHI, recording three victories, one of them by knockout, and only one defeat. Among his most notable achievements are the WGP title in 2018, the Pan American title in 2019, and the HEAT Japan championship belt, also won in 2019. Gazani is known for his tactical discipline, versatile fighting style, and ability to control the pace of a bout.
Standing in his way on the road to the SENSHI Grand Prix title will be Aissam Chadid of Morocco – a fighter with a reputation as a fast and explosive competitor who is always hunting for the knockout. Chadid has fought five times in the SENSHI ring, earning two victories, one of them by knockout, and suffering three defeats. Throughout his career, he has won the ISKA European Championship, the Glory of Hero tournament, and the Spanish championship title. The Moroccan relies on powerful strikes, unpredictable tactics, and relentless pressure, making him particularly dangerous from the very opening seconds of the fight.
The showdown between Gazani and Chadid promises a high-level and action-packed contest – a clash between the Brazilian’s extensive experience and composure and the Moroccan fighter’s explosive power and aggression.
