Following the spectacular fights and intense emotions during the international fight gala SENSHI 31 Gladiators at the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, the special awards were presented to the fighters who impressed the audience, viewers watching worldwide, and the organizers the most with their performances in the ring.
The “Best Technique” award was won by the 70 kg Grand Prix champion Angelo Volpe (Italy), who demonstrated precision, full control, and flawless execution throughout his performance in the three demanding bouts of the SENSHI elimination tournament. The champion received the special award personally from kickboxing legend Andy Souwer.
The “Fighting Spirit” award went for a second time to Maxence Vignais (France) for his relentless heart, gladiator mentality, and determination to fight until the very last second. The distinction was presented to him by world-renowned fighter Albert Kraus in the SENSHI ring.
The “Knockout of the Night” award was deservedly presented to Andres Casado (Spain), who delivered an explosive finish in his fight for the reserve spot in the Grand Prix tournament. Dutch fighting legend Semmy Schilt honored the Spanish fighter for his outstanding performance.
