SENSHI 33 Grand Prix promises an action-packed fight card featuring elite athletes from the martial arts schools of 12 countries – Argentina, Bulgaria, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Germany, Greece, Italy, Moldova, Nigeria, Portugal, Romania, Spain, and the United Kingdom. The international fight gala will take place on September 5 at 7:30 PM EET /12:30 PM EST/ at the beach of the St. St. Constantine and Helena resort in Varna, Bulgaria. Tickets are available through the network of Eventim.bg.
On September 5, under the open sky, eight professional fighters will enter a single-elimination tournament to compete for the SENSHI Grand Prix title in the Light Heavyweight division (up to 95 kg). Among the title contenders is Eduard Aleksanyan, while SENSHI Grand Prix champion Zhulien Rikov, lightweight kickboxing standout Ognyan Mirchev, and reigning European K-1 champion Simeon Nakovski will compete in exciting Super Fights.
Eduard Aleksanyan will be Bulgaria's representative in the main draw of the Light Heavyweight Grand Prix tournament. A two-time SENSHI European Champion in the 90 kg division (2023 and 2024), "Mr. Action" is one of the organization's most explosive and entertaining fighters, boasting a record of 13 victories, including seven by knockout, and only two defeats. At SENSHI 29, he also secured a spectacular knockout victory in the heavyweight division (over 95 kg). Aleksanyan is the 2021 WAKO PRO European K-1 Champion and a Bulgarian National Kickboxing Champion for 2018 and 2020.
Zhulien Rikov – the first Bulgarian SENSHI Grand Prix Champion in the 75 kg division – will face another top-class opponent. Representing the new generation of professional fighters, Rikov has enjoyed a remarkable rise on the SENSHI stage this year. He remains unbeaten in the organization with six victories, while his most recent appearance at SENSHI 32 ended in a technical knockout. Rikov is a two-time Kickboxing World Cup champion, a two-time European Cup champion, and an eight-time Bulgarian Kickboxing Champion.
Ognyan Mirchev is among Bulgaria's leading lightweight kickboxers in the 70 kg division. He has recorded three victories in the SENSHI ring, including one by knockout, while remaining undefeated. Mirchev is also the 2022 WAKO European K-1 Champion for seniors, a WAKO World Cadet silver medalist, and an 18-time Bulgarian Kickboxing Champion. His last appearance at SENSHI came at SENSHI 24.
Simeon Nakovski will make his SENSHI debut in this event, competing in a 70 kg bout with the ambition of impressing the audience with his fighting skills. He is the reigning WKN European K-1 Champion, having captured the title in May 2026. His achievements also include the championship belt of the British promotion KGP and 12 Bulgarian national kickboxing titles.
