Over 260 Fighters from Around the World Train at the International SENSHI Camp in Plovdiv

The city of Plovdiv, Bulgaria, is once again becoming a global stage for combat sports and the exchange of successful training methods and skills. From May 28 to 31, Plovdiv hosts the large-scale international SENSHI training camp, bringing together more than 260 athletes from 14 different countries. Representing Greece, Italy, North Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Spain, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Japan, Czechia, Georgia, and Bulgaria, they come together to learn from world-class champions and instructors at the International SENSHI Camp.

The international SENSHI organization continues its mission to support and develop young talents through high-level training camps that allow fighters to improve their skills under the guidance of world-renowned kickboxing and Kyokushin karate instructors. During the four-day program, participants will go through specialized training sessions focused on technique, tactics, physical conditioning, and building a champion’s mindset. Leading instructors at the camp are Dutch fighting legends Ernesto Hoost, shihan Semmy Schilt, Albert Kraus, and Andy Souwer. They are joined by shihan Nicholas Pettas, sensei Tariel Nikoleishvili, sensei Jan Soukup, sensei Zahari Damyanov, and sensei Petar Martinov. Each of them will share their rich championship experience with the next generation of fighters.

The camp welcomes active competitors who hold world and European titles, fighters with medals from national tournaments in various combat disciplines, as well as their coaches. Alongside the valuable hands-on experience, the camp also offers talented athletes the opportunity to be noticed by SENSHI scouts — a chance that has already opened the door to the professional stage for many fighters from different countries.

The intensive preparation precedes the international fight gala SENSHI 31 Gladiators and further strengthens Bulgaria’s position as an important hub for the development of combat sports in Europe. Participants will also have the unique opportunity to attend live the major event SENSHI 31 Gladiators, which will take place on May 30 at the iconic Ancient Theatre of Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Under the open sky of the ancient arena, they will witness spectacular professional fights, while the organization will deliver the expected high level of action with the new SENSHI Grand Prix tournament in the 70 kg division. The tournament will gather some of the best fighters in the lightweight division in a battle for the championship title and a place in SENSHI history. There can be only one winner, and the Grand Prix trophy will be a well-earned reward after three fights pushed to the limit of strength and determination.
