Another international combat sports show, SENSHI 30 Grand Prix, is coming up. The fight gala will take place on February 28 at 7:00 PM EET /12:00 PM EST/ at the Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna, Bulgaria, with tickets available through Eventim.bg network.

SENSHI 30 will feature a historic Grand Prix tournament in the up to 75 kg category, with kickboxing champion Konstantin Stoykov taking part. He is already well known to fans of the organization, having fought three matches so far.

“There will be a spectacle, adrenaline. The foundation is strong mental resilience, and working on myself—preparing for the pain and injuries that will come your way. You have to adapt, accept them, and pursue your goal until the very end,” he said in an interview for the program Bulgaria Morning.

Three fights in one night at the SENSHI Grand Prix

“In the first bout, you know who you’re facing. You prepare tactically. After that, it’s about predictions. The coach and I have a base forecast, and we prepare two game plans,” Stoykov revealed, specifying that his first fight will be against a Spanish opponent.

He shared that he feels ready for the challenge. “I’m confident. There are still three weeks to go, and I’ll be in even better shape. I step into the ring only for victories. I’m grateful to SENSHI for organizing another training camp with selected fighters in January—it was extremely beneficial. We focus heavily on sparring and technique with a larger number of partners. For me, it’s a pleasure to fight in Varna. Every time I hear the crowd and feel the energy that motivates me,” Stoykov said.

Losses are hard to deal with, he admitted. “I find them difficult to accept. Knockout victories are closest to my heart. The horizons that SENSHI provides are enormous. I want to stay on their podium for as long as possible,” Stoykov added on air.
