No Mercy, No Limits Constantin Rusu Targets SENSHI Grand Prix Title

Share

Moldovan kickboxing standout Constantin “Lion Crusher” Rusu enters the SENSHI 30 Grand Prix –75 kg instead of Nikola Todorovic (Serbia). As one of the most experienced and decorated fighters in the division he will bravely fight for the SENSHI Grand Prix title. With 14 years in martial arts and major titles such as KOK World Grand Prix Champion, K-1 Champion of Moldova, and FEA Champion, the 31-year-old brings a proven record, explosive striking power, and a relentless competitive mindset into the KWU Full Contact tournament.

Well known to the Bulgarian audience, Constantin Rusu has fought twice in the SENSHI ring so far, with one victory against Nikola Cvetkovic in the 21st edition and one defeat against Michael Samperi in SENSHI 24.

Known for his powerful hand-and-foot combinations and controlled aggressiveness, Rusu thrives under pressure and sees SENSHI Grand Prix as the ultimate test of endurance, focus, and adaptability. The Grand Prix format—potentially three fights in one night—represents new territory, but also a challenge he fully embraces. Motivated by his family, driven by discipline, and fueled by the energy of the crowd, Constantin Rusu promises an aggressive and uncompromising performance inside the SENSHI ring.

What motivates you most to step into the ring of the SENSHI Grand Prix?

My biggest motivation is the desire to push my limits. This is a new experience for me, especially fighting multiple times in one evening, and it gives me the chance to prove my value at the highest level.

What is the biggest challenge of fighting several times in one night?

Managing physical fatigue and maintaining focus after each fight. Every bout requires maximum energy, so fast recovery between fights is absolutely essential.

How do you deal with the mental pressure of potentially fighting three times in one evening?

I rely on experience, mental discipline, and staying focused on the present moment. I treat each fight separately and don’t think about the next one until the current fight is over.

How did you prepare physically and mentally for this tournament format?

My preparation was very intense, with a strong focus on endurance, recovery, and strategy. Mentally, I’ve worked a lot on emotional control and maintaining focus regardless of the opponent.

What can fans expect from you in this match?

A tough and aggressive fight. I will give everything in the ring and show exactly what I’m capable of.

What message do you have for your opponent?

Be ready. I’m waiting for you without mercy. Let’s make it a fight that everyone will remember.
