Very soon, the anniversary edition of the international fight gala SENSHI 30 will shake Varna, Bulgaria. On February 28, starting at 7:00 PM EET /12:00 PM EST/ at the Palace of Culture and Sports, the professional organization SENSHI will mark its 30th edition with the first-ever SENSHI Grand Prix tournament in the up to 75 kg division. Twelve elite fighters from the world kickboxing scene will enter the battle for the championship title in this division.
In addition to the high-stakes tournament that will determine the first SENSHI champion in the light division, SENSHI 30 also features three spectacular super fights, enriching the fight card and guaranteeing even higher adrenaline for the fans. In the first super fight, held under KWU Full Contact rules up to 70 kg, Hirokatsu Miyagi (Japan) will face Samo Petje (Slovenia) in a bout that promises a true clash of styles and personalities.
Samo Petje is well known to the Bulgarian audience as the SENSHI European champion up to 75 kg and the winner of the organization’s most prestigious individual award – the “Helmet of Spartacus” for 2025. The Slovenian boasts an impressive résumé, including European MTA titles in Muay Thai and K-1 in 2013, 2014, and 2024, as well as five successful title defenses in the FFC organization. His technical skill, experience, and composure in the ring make him one of the most dangerous fighters in the division and a logical favorite in the upcoming clash.
Standing opposite him will be a representative of the Japanese fighting school – Hirokatsu Miyagi, winner of RISE 188 and a fighter known for his aggressive style and uncompromising “samurai spirit.” Miyagi is the kind of competitor who never backs down, regardless of how the fight unfolds, and is always searching for the decisive moment, making this matchup even more unpredictable.
The confrontation between the technical and experienced Petche and the relentless Miyagi is shaping up to be one of the highlights of the evening. Fans in Varna can expect a high pace, powerful exchanges, and a battle until the final bell – exactly in the spirit of SENSHI and the organization’s tradition of delivering world-class spectacle.
With its historic Grand Prix tournament in the up to 75 kg division and three super fights, SENSHI 30 promises to be an unforgettable combat sports event for all fans. Do not miss the anniversary gala on February 28. Tickets for the fight show are available via Eventim.bg.
