The Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv, Bulgaria welcomed today, May 16, the official weigh-in before the spectacular SENSHI 26 Gladiators Gala Fight Night. 24 elite fighters from 16 countries successfully passed the weigh-ins and are ready to enter into spectacular clashes in 12 fights in different categories under the rules of KWU FULL CONTACT, KWU OPEN, and KWU SENSHI.
On the stage of the iconic venue in the heart of the city of Plovdiv were presented all the fighters from the fight card who will face each other on May 17 in the first gladiatorial edition of SENSHI. The mood was electrifying as fans and media witnessed the first face-to-face encounter between the rivals, passed with respect – restrained smiles and determined poses.
The official weigh-in of SENSHI 26 Gladiators turned into a true celebration of combat sports, as legends such as Shihan Akira Masuda, Ernesto Hoost, Semmy Schilt, Albert Kraus, Andy Souwer, Sam Greco, and others honored the event and personally congratulated the fighters for their courage and dedication. The martial arts greats will be both referees and judges during the gala, adding even more significance and prestige to each fight.
Expectations for explosive fights are huge, as the arena will see many world and European champions, prestigious title holders, and 13 debuting fighters in the SENSHI gladiatorial arena.
