The International Fight Gala series SENSHI is where champions are made and skills are forged. On May 17, spectators in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, will witness SENSHI 26 GLADIATORS – a special edition of the professional gala taking place at the iconic Ancient Theatre. Tickets for the spectacular event are already on sale at Eventim.bg with the most eager fans able to secure seats with a top view of the gladiator arena.
Four top-level Bulgarian fighters will step into the heated ring, ready to raise the audience’s adrenaline and once again demonstrate powerful strikes and peak form against renowned opponents from around the world.
Vladislav Kanchev (Bulgaria) will make his debut at the 26th edition of SENSHI. He is a winner of the Serbian Combat Championship in 2019 and 2020, a grappling champion under the Bulgarian Grappling Association (RGC) in 2016, and a runner-up in the Bulgarian Boxing Cup in 2017.The MMA fighter will face the tough Brazilian Flavio Pina in a -80 kg match under KWU OPEN rules.
Atanas Bozhilov (Bulgaria) was the 2023 SENSHI European champion in the -75 kg division. He is also a world champion at KGP 2018 and WAKO PRO 2017 and 2019 – a true legend with 21 wins in 23 SENSHI appearances. Bozhilov will showcase his top-level fighting skills against Sabri Ben Henia (Belgium) in a bout under KWU FULL CONTACT rules, -75 kg.
Ognyan Mirchev (Bulgaria) has secured three victories in the SENSHI series, most recently overcoming Walter Christopher (France) at SENSHI 24. He is a junior kickboxing world vice-champion, 2022 European K-1 champion, two-time Balkan kickboxing champion, and an 18-time Bulgarian national champion. At SENSHI 26, he will face the experienced Giannis Eminov (Greece) in the -70 kg category under KWU FULL CONTACT rules.
Dragomir Petrov (Bulgaria) will again prove his worth as SENSHI’s European champion in the -70 kg division, taking on title contender Andrei Kedves (Croatia). A four-time Bulgarian kickboxing champion, Petrov boasts numerous titles and professional wins. In 2023, he was honored with the special “Helmet of Spartacus” award for outstanding achievements in the SENSHI series. On May 17, he will defend his European title on home soil for the third time, competing under KWU FULL CONTACT rules, -70 kg.
The main entrance of the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv will open to spectators at 6:00 PM EET, and the fight show SENSHI 26 Gladiators will begin at 7:00 PM EET /12 PM EST/. Visitors should note that the entrance from Tsar Boris III Obedinitel Blvd. will not be accessible during the event.
