One of the all time greats in Bulgaria’s kickboxing history will make his one final walk to the big stage at SENSHI 21 in a little more than a month time. Vladimir The Pitbull Valev will put his gloves on for one last time in order to focus on his coaching career.
The 39 year old Valev will face Carlos Garcia in the main event of the evening at the Kongresna hall in Varna, Bulgaria.
The Pitbull’s career spans way back to 1996 when he made his first steps in the combat sports arena. With more than 300 fights on amateur and professional level he is without a doubt a true legend of the sport. At professional level he has only 5 defeats in more than 50 fights.
Back in 2016 he started his coaching career at sports club TIM Varna where under his wing flourished the next generation of fighters in his home town.
Under his belt Valev has the WAKO World title from 2013, the WAKO PRO World Professional Kickboxing title from 2016, the World K-1 and Best fighter in the world in WAKO from 2013, and the Thai Boxing World title from 2013.
His opponent is also a seasoned fighter. The 33 years old Garcia is the K-1 Spanish champion from 2017, the runner-up in Spain’s Muay Thai championship from 2016 and the runer-up in K-1 World Championship from 2015.
