Daniele Valente needed an extra round to get his most exciting victory so far in his career when he faced Petar Stoykov at SENSHI 24. The young Italian showed some stamina and after the fight he admitted for Boec that this was what he trained for in his camp.
“I’ve had no problems in the extra round because I’ve been training four round for four minutes . I knew the possibility if such a scenario. I was confident that I can keep up the pace“, Valente said.
The young Italian obviously had studied the Bulgarian’s strong sides and his plan worked almost perfectly with the good distance and preventing the exchanges from the inside.
“My strategy was to go by his tempo and don’t let him push me to the ropes. It was me who kept him there with my kicks and knees“, he added.
