As May 17 approaches, the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, prepares to transform into a stage for spectacular battles during the international fight night SENSHI 26 Gladiators. Tickets for the event are already on sale via Eventim.bg, and the best seats are quickly selling out.
At the 26th edition of SENSHI, martial arts fans will witness four distinguished fighters from Romania and the Netherlands. Two Dutch debutants will step into the SENSHI arena for the first time, while two well-known Romanian kickboxers will return to face new opponents in front of the Bulgarian audience.
Arend van Montfoort (Netherlands), Enfusion champion, will make his SENSHI debut at SENSHI 26 Gladiators. He will face Calio Gibrain (Brazil) in a challenging match under the KWU FULL CONTACT rules in the heavyweight 95+ kg category.
Rio Richardson (Netherlands) is the second debutant, a winner of the Fair Fighting Championship. He will go against the familiar Romanian fighter Florin Ivanoaie in the 95+ kg category under KWU FULL CONTACT rules.
Marius Munteanu (Romania) is the Colosseum Tournament champion, Kombat London titleholder, Fight Zone champion, and winner of Cezar Fighting Championship. He will meet Francesko Xhaja (Albania) under KWU FULL CONTACT rules in the 95+ kg category. In his SENSHI debut at the previous event, he defeated French fighter Sene Lamin.
Florin Ivanoaie (Romania) is a national boxing vice-champion and the heavyweight champion of the DFS Tournament 2023. At SENSHI 25 in February, he secured a technical knockout victory over Albanian Francesko Xhaja. How his clash with Rio Richardson will unfold can be witnessed live at SENSHI 26 Gladiators on May 17 at the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv.
The main entrance of the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv will open to spectators at 6:00 PM, with the international fight night SENSHI 26 Gladiators starting at 7:00 PM EET /12 PM EST/. Please note that the entrance from Tsar Boris III Obedinitel Blvd. will not be operational during the event.
The 26th edition of Gala Night SENSHI is organized in cooperation with the KWU International Professional League, as well as with the special support of Armeec Insurance Company, MAX Sport, Bulgaria Air, M Car Group – BMW dealer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Service, and St. St. Constantine and Helena Holding.
