The fifth special training camp of the international fight promotion SENSHI for selected lightweight and middleweight fighters took place in Varna.
From April 22 to 26, the seaside capital hosted 26 professional fighters and instructors from 16 countries, who went through a high-intensity and highly focused training program. Participants worked under the guidance of established names in combat sports, with a strong emphasis on conditioning, technique, tactics, and adapting to different fighting styles.
Among the selected fighters was Andrej Kedvesh, the SENSHI European Champion in the 70 kg division. The team of Boec.bg spoke with him to find out what makes this camp different, whether he plans to return to the SENSHI ring, and if he is ready to face the new champion who will be crowned at the Grand Prix tournament in Plovdiv on May 30.
Kedvesh highlighted the unique atmosphere of the camp, where rivalry gives way to mutual growth. “There are fighters here I’ve faced in the ring, but at the camp we’re not opponents — we help each other and learn from one another,” he said. According to him, this environment, where top-level fighters train together, is key to development and continuous improvement.
The champion made it clear that he is motivated to return to the SENSHI stage and continue testing himself against elite competition. The possibility of facing the upcoming Grand Prix winner is a challenge he is ready to embrace with confidence.
