Spectacular fights, an electrifying gladiatorial atmosphere, and brutal knockouts shook the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, on Saturday night as SENSHI 31 Gladiators delivered its highly anticipated international fight gala. Fighters from 14 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America stepped into the arena to test their skills in a series of uncompromising clashes filled with intensity, technique, and fighting spirit. In front of packed stands, they created a combat spectacle that kept the audience on edge from the opening bell to the final gong.

At the center of attention was Angelo Volpe (Italy), who made history by winning the first-ever SENSHI Grand Prix lightweight tournament in the 70 kg division. On his road to the title, he overcame a series of serious challenges, imposed his dominance over his opponents, and deservedly lifted the championship trophy. With his performance, Volpe cemented his place among the elite fighters in the division and became the undisputed hero of the evening. Bulgaria’s Dragomir Petrov finished as runner-up in the tournament, while Bruno Gazani (Brazil) secured third place with a victory in the bronze medal bout.

• Angelo Volpe (Italy) defeated Samo Petje (Slovenia) by unanimous decision to advance in the tournament.

• Bruno Gazani (Brazil) defeated Aissam Chadid (Morocco) by unanimous decision.

• Dragomir Petrov (Bulgaria) defeated Hirokatsu Miyagi (Japan) by split decision.

• Marian Lapusneanu (Romania) defeated Zehao Zhang (China) by unanimous decision in quaterfinals.

• Wiktor Kolaja (Poland) defeated Maxence Vignais (France) after an extra round by unanimous decision in the reserve bout.

• Andres Casado (Spain) knocked out Mihail Velchovski (Bulgaria) in Round 3 of the reserve fight.

• Angelo Volpe defeated Bruno Gazani in semi-finals by split decision and advanced to the final of the Grand Prix.

• Dragomir Petrov won his semi-final clash against Marian Lapusneanu in a highly contested bout via unanimous decision after extra round.

• Bruno Gazani defeated Marian Lapusneanu in the fight for third place via second-round knockout.

• Angelo Volpe won the Grand Prix 70 kg title against Dragomir Petrov with a first-round knockout.

• Atanas Bozhilov (Bulgaria) recorded his 25th consecutive victory in the SENSHI series against Aaron Slimane (England) via unanimous decision in -75 kg.

• Thomas Bridgewater (Netherlands) defeated Asdren Gashi (Belgium) via unanimous decision after an extra round in the heavyweight division 95+ kg.

• Daniel Dinev (Bulgaria) showed superiority in a hard-fought battle against Benjamin Adegbuyi (Romania) and win via unanimous decision in 95+ kg category.
