
Bulgarian representative in the SENSHI 32 Grand Prix elimination tournament in the up to 85 kg division, Ali Yuzeir, will face Joshua Akingbade of Ireland in one of the most anticipated matchups of the tournament bracket. The bout will take place on July 11 at 7:30 PM EET /12:30 PM EST/ at the beach arena next to More Restaurant in St. St. Constantine and Helena Resort, Varna, Bulgaria, where eight fighters will compete for the middleweight championship title. The winner will take the first step toward lifting the Grand Prix trophy, which requires three victories in a single evening.
The 27-year-old Ali Yuzeir will stand up for the local fans' hopes in the toughest tournament on the professional SENSHI circuit. The Varna-based fighter is the 2018 Muay Thai World Champion, 2015 European Muay Thai Vice Champion, and 2017 Balkan Best Fighters K-1 Champion. On the SENSHI stage, Yuzeir has established himself as one of Bulgaria's most exciting competitors, recording two knockout victories in his first two appearances. His most recent triumph came at SENSHI 29, where he claimed a dominant win over Karim Mabrouk.
Standing across the ring will be 23-year-old Irish fighter Joshua Akingbade, nicknamed The Bad Boy, who is set to make his SENSHI debut. Akingbade arrives with growing confidence and an impressive list of achievements, including the 2026 Battle of Barock 4-Man Tournament title, two Irish Muay Thai championships in different weight divisions, and two Four Nations Muay Thai titles. The Irish prospect will be aiming for a strong start in the international promotion and a surprise place in the semifinals.
The matchup pits an experienced Bulgarian fighter with proven success on the SENSHI stage against an ambitious newcomer eager to make an immediate impact. The international fight gala SENSHI 32 Grand Prix will bring together 16 fighters from 13 countries on July 11 at 7:30 PM at the spectacular beach arena next to More Restaurant in St. St. Constantine and Helena Resort, Varna.
