One of the most anticipated heavyweight super fights at the upcoming professional combat gala SENSHI 31 Gladiators will pit Bulgarian kickboxer Daniel Dinev against Romanian knockout specialist Benjamin Adegbuyi. The two fighters will step into the SENSHI ring in the heaviest division, over 95 kg, on May 30 at the Ancient Theatre of Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Both athletes will be making their debut appearances in the international promotion, each aiming to deliver a strong performance. Tickets for the international fight event, which always keeps the audience on the edge of their seats, are available at Eventim.bg.
"With each passing day, I feel more confident in myself. We can do it. I train between nine and eleven times a week. I don't think there is anything about my opponent that scares me," Dinev said in the studio of the morning show "Bulgaria Sutrin."
"We are focusing on a wide range of aspects — physical and mental preparation. We have studied our opponent very thoroughly and watched all of his available fights. We analyzed both his strengths and weaknesses. Daniel's greatest strength will be revealed in the ring," commented coach Tsvetozar Kyuchukov on Bulgaria ON AIR.
"For this fight, they consider us underdogs, which is actually very good for us," added the coach from Gong Sofia Kickboxing Club. Both Daniel Dinev and his trainer are expecting a knockout victory in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
"When I'm on stage, the adrenaline is always there. I am grateful to SENSHI for the opportunity to step into the ring, especially against such an opponent. This is a huge advantage for me. I have never underestimated any of my rivals," the kickboxer admitted. With numerous kickboxing titles and accolades to his name, he approaches every fight with caution, fully aware of how important it is to follow his coach's instructions.
According to Kyuchukov, tactical preparation is of critical importance. "It is essential for him to know how to avoid his opponent's strengths and how to attack his weaknesses, because Adegbuyi is very tough. He is a big name in kickboxing, but he also has his weaknesses. This sport is dynamic, and you must be prepared for every possible scenario," Tsvetozar Kyuchukov added.
