The eight-man 95 kg Grand Prix field and six Super Fight competitors came face-to-face one final time ahead of fight night on September 5.
The fighters competing at SENSHI 33 Grand Prix successfully stepped on the scales in Varna, Bulgaria, on September 4, completing the final official formality before the upcoming fight night.
The official weigh-in brought the competitors face-to-face one day before they enter the ring on September 5 at the beach arena in St. St. Constantine and Helena resort, in Varna, Bulgaria.
All eyes were on the eight fighters entering the SENSHI Grand Prix at 95 kg, where only one man will leave the arena as champion. The tournament will put the contenders through one of the toughest challenges in professional combat sports: to claim the SENSHI Grand Prix title, the eventual winner will have to win three fights in a single night – quarter-final, semi-final and final.
Bulgarian Eduard Aleksanyan enters the tournament against Romania’s Yuri Farcas in the quarter-finals. The remaining opening-round clashes will see Portugal’s Iuri Fernandes face Moldovan Alexandru Burduja, Tunisian Sharif Ben Mabrouk take on Turkish Emin Ozer, and Italian Ramon Quirini meet German Ali Nasir.
Two reserve bouts will also be contested, with the winners ready to step into the Grand Prix should they be needed as the tournament unfolds.
Beyond the Grand Prix, SENSHI 33 will feature three international Super Fights under KWU FULL CONTACT rules, completing a packed night of professional combat sports in Varna, Bulgaria.

By the end of the night, one fighter will have survived three rounds of the tournament and earned the right to call himself the SENSHI Grand Prix 95 kg champion.
