Ulrik Bokeme and Juri de Sousa Set for a Tough Clash at SENSHI 32 Grand Prix

One of the most intriguing matchups in the opening round of the SENSHI Grand Prix tournament in the -85 kg division will see Switzerland’s Ulrik Bokeme face Portugal’s Juri De Sousa on July 11. The two fighters will meet at the beach arena next to Restaurant More in St. St. Constantine and Helena Resort, Varna, Bulgaria, in a bout that could prove decisive for the outcome of the championship race. The winner will take the first step toward the trophy, which requires a total of three victories in a single evening at SENSHI 32.

Thirty-six-year-old Ulrik Bokeme of Switzerland, known by his nickname “The Black Phantom,” arrives with extensive international experience and an established reputation in the SENSHI ring. He is a Swiss kickboxing champion and a WFC European champion, and he has already recorded three victories in the professional promotion, including a win over Italian Fabian Lorito, who will also compete in this year’s Grand Prix. Bokeme is familiar with the SENSHI atmosphere and knows how to handle the pressure of major fights.

Standing opposite him will be 31-year-old Portuguese fighter Juri de Sousa, known as “Bad News,” who will make his SENSHI debut. His résumé, however, is highly impressive. He is a world, European, and German kickboxing champion, the current holder of the 2026 “It's Fight Time” tournament title, and the winner of an MMA championship in 2024. De Sousa enters the tournament determined to become a major contender for the championship belt from his very first appearance.

The matchup brings together two fighters who have taken different paths to the top – the experienced Bokeme, who has already proven his qualities in the SENSHI ring, and debutant De Sousa, who arrives with an impressive collection of international titles and the desire to make a strong first impression. One of them will advance to the tournament semifinals, while the other will see his campaign end in the opening stage of the competition.

SENSHI 32 Grand Prix will bring together 16 fighters from 13 countries on July 11, starting at 7:30 PM ЕЕТ /12:30 PM EST/, at the beach arena in Varna, Bulgaria. The main highlight of the evening will be the elimination tournament in the -85 kg division, which will crown the new SENSHI Grand Prix champion. Do not miss the opportunity to follow the action and witness the outcome of this exciting event.

Tickets for the international fight gala are already available through Eventim.bg. Fans can secure their seats ringside and become part of one of the most anticipated fight nights of the summer, featuring world-class professional kickboxing and championship battles.

The SENSHI 32 Grand Prix is organized with the support of the KWU International Professional League and the special support of Armeec Insurance Company, MAX Sport, Bulgaria Air, M Car Group – BMW Dealer, and St. St. Constantine and Helena Holding.
