Valeri Atanasov ahead of SENSHI 28: “I’m ready for a full fight, but a knockout is always welcome”

Professional MMA fighter Valeri Atanasov will be looking for his second victory in the ring of the international SENSHI promotion. The fighter from Varna will face Bruno Porto under the KWU OPEN rules, in the -95 kg category, at the 28th edition of the fight organization. The event will take place at the resort complex “St. St. Constantine and Helena” in Varna, Bulgaria on September 13, starting at 7:00 PM EET /12:00 PM EST/. Tickets for the fight night are available at Eventim.bg.

Atanasov already has one win in the SENSHI ring under the KWU Open rules. In November 2023, at SENSHI 19, the 36-year-old athlete defeated Artur Kudresovash by unanimous decision. Speaking to Sportal Fight Club, the fighter, nicknamed The Wolf, shared that the modified MMA rules appeal to him and fit his style well.

The European Amateur MMA Championship medalist stated in the interview that he is prepared to go the distance again if needed but would certainly welcome a knockout victory.
