At just 24 years old, Brazilian fighter Carlos Barbosa, known as “The Bully,” steps onto the SENSHI stage with absolute confidence and a clear objective: domination. A FEKM Spain Champion and winner of multiple international tournaments, Barbosa arrives at SENSHI 30 Grand Prix in Varna, Bulgaria, carrying a reputation for raw aggression, relentless pressure, and an uncompromising will to win. For him, this is more than another fight night—it is a chance to prove himself among the elite of his weight category.
Barbosa has spent the last decade forging his identity through hard work and sacrifice. Inspired by his mother, who remains his greatest source of motivation, he approaches the sport with a simple philosophy: no fear, no excuses, only effort. His fighting style reflects that mindset: direct, physical, and built for confrontation. One of the defining moments of his career came in a brutal clash with Guerric Billet, a fight he describes as a full-scale war from the first second to the last. In an interview for Gong.bg, he talked about his mindset before his first encounter in the ring with Bulgarian fighter Zhulien Rikov and his ambition to win the title.
Now, “The Bully” faces a new kind of test in the SENSHI Grand Prix format in category up to 75 kg on February 28, where endurance, mentality, and adaptability are just as important as power. Unfazed by the prospect of multiple fights in one night, Barbosa is convinced that daily work, trust in his team, and belief in his destiny will carry him all the way. His goal is clear and stated without hesitation: to leave SENSHI as a Grand Prix champion.
