The exciting 17th edition of the elite professional gala SENSHI with fighting stars is coming on July 8
Martial arts fans are looking forward to the exciting 17th edition of the SENSHI professional elite fighting gala night on July 8 this year, which will be attended by fighting stars from several continents. The fight night will be held in Varna on the beach in “St. St. Constantine and Helena” resort.
The 17th edition of SENSHI will take place during one of the biggest combat sports events not only in Bulgaria, but in the whole kyokushin and karate world – the 17th annual KWU International Summer Camp in Kamchia.
SENSHI is organized in cooperation with the Professional League of the Kyokushin World Union (KWU International Professional League), as well as with the special support of Armeec Insurance Company, MAX Sport, Bulgaria Air, M Car Group – BMW dealer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Service and St. St. Constantine and Helena Holding.

The exclusive event – XVII International Summer Camp of the Kyokushin World Union (KWU) and the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation (BKKF), which is among the most spectacular in the world of martial arts, will be held from 02 to 09 July 2023 in Kamchia with over 1200 participants from all over the world. The prestigious summer camp is organized in conjunction with the BККF in accordance with the federation’s international calendar.
Participants from all over the world gather in Bulgaria every year to learn, train and develop. Led by 18 world-renowned martial arts masters, this camp offers a unique opportunity for participants to improve their skills and deepen their knowledge of various disciplines. From Kyokushin and kickboxing, full contact and Muay Thai to Iaido and Kudo, each fighter at the camp is offered training in a variety of combat sports from the best masters. Special guests and coaches of the camp will be martial arts legends, world-renowned and deeply respected masters. The event will feature competitive matches for the KWU World Cup for Juniors (14-15 and 16-17 years) and Cadets (18-21 years) – the KWU Varna World Cup 2023. The winners in the 17 age group receive medals and diplomas as well as trophies from the respective class, while the champions in the 18-21 age group receive cash prizes along with this.
There are the impressive KWU World Cup Open Category fights for men and women coming up. The prize money fund this year is truly spectacular, and title contenders can sign up for the camp and matches until 09 June 2023.
Featuring a wide range of hands-on activities, workshops and intensive training sessions, this camp will challenge and inspire participants to push their limits. The international event will offer athletes an exciting cultural exchange, engaging activities and breathtaking adventures that will create lifelong memories.
XVII International Summer Camp is organized in cooperation by BKKF and KWU, aiming to increase the level of mastery of the participants, improve the qualification of the coaches, strengthen the friendship between the members of the different federations that are part of KWU. During the international camp in Bulgaria, examinations are also held to improve the style qualification of competitors and coaches.
