SENSHI 21 – arena for Bulgarian champions

The elite Fighting Gala Night SENSHI 21 with its spring edition will rock Varna, Bulgaria on April 20, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. EET /11:00 a.m EST/ in the Congress Hall of the Palace of Culture and Sports, where the audience will enjoy 14 spectacular fights of 28 renowned fighting stars from 17 countries.

SENSHI 21 is the arena where the champions show their best, grow professionally, strive for victory at any cost, and bring priceless emotions to all fans of combat sports in Bulgaria.

Rusi Minev is a debutant for the professional fight gala SENSHI. He is a six-time MMA champion of Bulgaria and has never lost a fight at the national level. Minev won a bronze medal at the 2018 World Championships in Manama, Bahrain, and a bronze medal at the 2019 European Championships in Rome, Italy. He won the prestigious Armageddon Pro tournament on the FNC International circuit. Minev won prizes at the International Sofia Open and ADCC grappling tournaments. To date, Rusi Minev has three wins and one loss in his professional MMA career.

Mihail Velchovski is a four-time kickboxing champion of Bulgaria, with many professional victories and three appearances in the SENSHI ring, winner of the SENSHI 16 “Fighting Spirit” special award on his debut in the arena in May 2023. Velchovski had two wins from his fights in the SENSHI ring last year.

Atanas Bozhilov is one of the legends of the sports circuit with eighteen wins in the SENSHI ring from his 19 appearances so far. He is the current holder of the SENSHI European title in the 75 kg category, which he won at SENSHI 17 last year, and is a true example for young fighters. Bozhilov is the world champion of KGP 2018 and WAKO PRO 2017 and 2019.

Vladimir Valev – The Pitbull will end his glorious career as a professional fighter with a SENSHI 21 benefit match. Valev’s professional career started in 1996 and to this date, he has over 300 fights at the amateur and professional level, with only 5 defeats in 54 fights at the pro level. Vladimir Valev – Pitbull is a multiple World, European, Balkan, and Republican champion. Among his accolades on the fighting scene are the WAKO title from 2013, the WAKO PRO championship belt from 2016, the recognition as the World No. 1 Fighter in K-1 in 2013, and the world title in Tai-boxing from 2013. In 2016, he became the first Bulgarian world pro kickboxing champion.

Valev’s first match was also symbolically at the Palace of Culture and Sports in his hometown of Varna, Bulgaria and on April 20, 2024, the crowd in the great hall will cheer him for the last time as a professional athlete.
