The elite fighters of SENSHI 16 successfully passed the official scales before the fight gala

The 16th edition of the combat show will be held on May 13 in Varna

The official weigh-in, which precedes the new 16th edition of the SENSHI International Fighting Gala, was held to great interest. The weigh-ins event was held at the Romance Room of the Astor Garden Hotel and during it, the impressive athletes who will take to the fight arena on May 13 came face to face for the first time.

The all 26 athletes entered their categories and were able to successfully pass the official scales and admitted that they are ready for the fights and showed fighting spirit and a strong desire to give their best in the ring at SENSHI 16.

We are just a few hours away from the big fight show. It will take place on May 13 at 18:30 in the Congress Hall of the Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna. Every martial arts fan who wants to watch SENSHI in the hall can buy his ticket from the Eventim network or at the box office. The new 16th edition of the SENSHI combat arena will feature some of the most impressive athletes and martial arts masters who have come to the maritime capital from different parts of the world.

The international gala night will present 13 breathtaking bouts with fighters from over 15 countries under the rules of KWU Full Contact, KWU OPEN and KWU SENSHI. 26 motivated to win competitors in Kyokushin, Muay Thai, MMA and kickboxers will show their skills in the ring. Among them are 6 of the best Bulgarian fighters – the Muay Thai EMC title-holder Dragomir Petrov, the KGP and WAKO PRO world champion Atanas Bozhilov and the two-time amateur world champion and European K-1 champion in WAKO World Aleksandar Petrov. The European Kyokushin Karate Champion and National Kickboxing Champion, with 6 MMA victories, three of them by knockouts Mitko Iliev, will be in the ring again at SENSHI 16, four-time K-1 champion and national kickboxing champion Mihail Velchovski, as well as world champion in combat sambo and national wrestling champion Marian Dimitrov, who made a streak of 10 consecutive victories and won 8 of his fights by knockout.

Unfortunately, Teodor Hristov will not be able to perform at tomorrow’s SENSHI 16 Gala Night due to injury. We have another great fighter who will fill the spot in the 12th bout on May 13. Mihail Velchivski (Bulgaria) is four-times K-1 champion and national kickboxing champion.

The spectacular fight gala SENSHI 16 will be broadcasted live on Bulgaria ON AIR and Max Sport for Bulgaria, as well as in real-time worldwide on American television FITE, Senshi.com, Boec.bg, Boec.com, Kwunion.com, and Kyokushin Karate News.
