Another grand combat spectacle has been prepared by SENSHI. On July 6th at 6:30 PM EET/11:30 EST, the beach of Saints Constantine and Helena Resort in Bulgaria will turn into an arena for gladiator fights, with two duels raising the tension to the maximum. Bulgarian favorites and some of the best kickboxers in Bulgaria, Atanas Bozhilov and Eduard Aleksanyan, will step into the ring at SENSHI 22 to defend their European titles.

Atanas Bozhilov, who has 19 victories in the gala arena and is also the KGP 2018 and WAKO PRO 2017 and 2019 world champion, will face Slovenian Samo Petje in the 75 kg category under KWU Full Contact rules. In the ring, Bozhilov will defend his Euro title against Petje, who is a titled European champion of MTA K1 for 2014, European Muay Thai champion of MTA for 2013, and has defended his title in the FFC five times. In the previous edition, SENSHI 21, Samo Petje defeated his Romanian opponent Vlad Trif by knockout in the second round.

“The responsibility for this fight is even greater because I am facing a very experienced and skilled opponent. He has many fight nights against serious fighters behind him, and I am fully focused on this bout. I know it will be a tough challenge, but I will be 100% ready for it. I managed to study Samo Petje’s strengths and weaknesses and am working on them to emerge victorious after this fight,” Bozhilov said about his duel.

The second major fight of the evening, which will undoubtedly excite the audience, will be between Varna fighter Eduard Aleksanyan and German Jakob Styben. They will step into the ring in a truly spectacular duel – a rematch for the Euro title after Aleksanyan won the European title at SENSHI in the 95 kg category at SENSHI 18 against Styben.

It is an honor for me to fight in front of the Varna audience to defend my European title at SENSHI. I will give my best, and you will see Mr. Action in action!” Aleksanyan said about the upcoming fight.

Eduard Aleksanyan is the European WAKO PRO champion in the K1 category for 2021, the Savages Kickboxing champion for 2019, as well as the national kickboxing champion for 2018 and 2020. In April 2023, Aleksanyan was ranked in the top 10 best middleweight kickboxers in the world by the prestigious issue of Combat Press. Jakob Styben is the European IKBF K1 champion, Northern Thailand Muay Thai champion for 2015, as well as Germany’s Muay Thai champion of MTBD and national K1 (IKBF) champion.
