KWU SENSHI camp with legendary masters of martial arts

The international training camp of KWU SENSHI, organized by the Professional League of the Kyokushin World Union, will be held in Varna from 23 to 26 November 2023. The training camp for improving combat skills is a strong platform for developing new fighters and a place for fruitful international exchanges, and it is one of Eastern Europe’s leading training events in martial arts.

KWU SENSHI camp in Varna is aimed at active young fighters from different countries who can be noticed by the organizers of the SENSHI fighting circuit and have the chance to participate in the international SENSHI gala in the future.

The instructors of the international KWU SENSHI camp in Varna will be legends in martial arts – Ernesto Hoost, Shihan Semmy Schilt, Shihan Sam Greco, Shihan Nicholas Pettas, Albert Kraus, Andy Souwer, Sensei Tariel Nikoleishvili, Sensei Zahari Damyanov, Sensei Jan Soukup and Sensei Petar Martinov.

The leading instructors of the training, passing on their invaluable experience in martial arts to the participants of the KWU SENSHI camp, are world-famous masters:

Ernesto Hoost – 4-times K-1 World champion, Savate World champion, ISKA full contact World champion, and Muay Thai World champion, Member of the Board of the KWU SENSHI.

Shihan Semmy Schilt – Glory Grand Slam 16-man tournament champion, Glory World champion, 4 x K-1 Grand Prix champion, K-1 World champion, 3x King of Pancrase, two times World Kudo champion, President of the KWU SENSHI Europe, member of the Board of the KWU SENSHI.

Shihan Sam Greco – K-1 fighter, World champion, motivational speaker, actor, 3 x WAKO World Kickboxing champion, World Full Contact Karate champion, and 6 x Australian Full Contact champion, Member of the Board of the KWU SENSHI.

Shihan Nicholas Pettas – the European and World Karate champion, the last Uchi-deshi of Masutatsu Oyama, K-1 Japan Grand Prix winner, SENSHI ring announcer, Member of the Board of the KWU SENSHI, Head of the PR and Marketing committee of the KWU SENSHI.

Albert Kraus – The first K-1 World MAX champion in 2002 and the first SUPERKOMBAT Middleweight champion, World champion in Kickboxing and Muay Thai, member of the Board of the KWU SENSHI.

Andy Souwer – 2-times K-1 World MAX champion and 4-times Shootboxing World champion, Showtime 70MAX World champion, World Muay Thai champion, member of the Board of the KWU SENSHI.

Sensei Tariel Nikoleishvili – Absolute Kyokushin World champion 2011, completed 100-man kumite in 2014, Absolute champion of Japan 2010, champion of Japan in the weight category 2010, Champion of Europe 2010, Member of the Board of the KWU SENSHI Europe.

Sensei Zahari Damyanov – Absolute Kyokushin World champion 2015, 4-times American Absolute champion, 4-times European champion, Member of the Board of the KWU SENSHI.

Sensei Jan Soukup – 2nd place in 9th Kyokushin World Open 2007, European champion, All Japan Tournament winner, Yangame’s Fight Night Heavyweight champion, Member of the Board of the KWU SENSHI Europe.

Sensei Petar Martinov -Kyokushin World champion 2014, Kyokushin European champion 2006, 3rd place European Open 2008, 3-times European Tameshiwari champion, Member of the Board of the KWU SENSHI.

The organizer bears the cost of accommodation and training of the participants in the martial arts camp. Masterclasses will be held in one of the best sports complexes in Varna – the prestigious training center “SENSHI Gym”. Interested participants can apply until 5 November 2023 by sending a completed application form to senshi_bulgaria@abv.bg. Early registration is recommended as places for the KWU SENSHI camp usually fill up quickly.

During the camp, there will be an autumn edition of the international martial arts gala SENSHI 19 on 25 November 2023 in the Palace of Culture and Sports – Varna. In the ring, martial arts fans in Bulgaria can see several attractive and strong fighters worldwide.
